About Me

IMG_9696.JPG

Hi, thanks for joining this journey with me!

My name is Noelle and I am a nursing student at Palm beach Atlantic University. I am also involved with our mission department called Campus Ministries Global (CM- Global). Two year s ago I had the wonderful privilege to travel with CM-Global to South Africa for four weeks. During that time abroad my eyes were opened to different perspectives and  I was pushed to grow in areas of my life I didn't even know was possible. I quickly grew to have a very large heart for all of South Africa. As the past few years have gone my I have been filled with a feeling that I have never felt before; homesickness. Being someone who travels a lot, I have never felt like a certain place was my home. Well, that was until I left South Africa. My heart longs to return to the place that felt like home, that stretched me and pruned me, and revealed a whole life of possibilities. But even more that that, I feel a calling to share the name of Jesus Christ to all of the people God created in South Africa. That South Africa may become a country that is on fire for the Lord.

So this summer I will be traveling to South Africa for six week with my school in partnership with Ethnos Missions International. As we are discipled in our relationship with Christ we will step into our role in the Great Commission through a multitude of outreaches. Some of these outreaches include, door to door evangelism, construction/ painting, youth camps, sports events, agriculture ministry, and much more.

Additionally, after our teams six weeks are over, I will be staying an additional week and a half. During this time I will be observing and volunteering at a new medical clinic called Door of Hope. This will allow me the opportunity to see some of the medical needs of South Africa and begin to set up job opportunities for after graduation.

I am very excited for what this summer holds and to see the ways in which the Lord is going to move. This trip is so much more to me than a vacation or a chance to see my friends; it's an act of obedience in my calling the Lord has placed on my life. It's an opportunity to die to myself and my own desires and surrender my every moment to God.
